EYFS

Flexible and adaptable activities led by experienced, well qualified environmental education officers, offering outdoor fun and exploration, which can be tailored to meet your group’s needs. 

Choose one of the activities below for your group for a great day in the forest or we can design a bespoke day for your group.

  • Arrival time is between 9.30 and 10am departure time between 2 and 2.30pm.
  • At lunchtime you will have access to your heated classroom, an area to play or have a picnic and toilets.
  • Nature Explorers

    EYFS

    An adventure in the forest; climbing over logs, paddling in the stream or looking for small creatures under logs. You can meet our animals too, including salamanders and snakes.

  • Bear Hunt

    EYFS

    Follow the bear's footprints through the forest, with fun activities along the route, before making a mini den for the bear. You can meet our animals too, including salamanders and snakes.

  • The Gruffalo Storybook Day

    EYFS

    Follow a trail through the forest, meeting the animals from the story and taking part in fun activities along the route. Find out about nocturnal animals and use senses to explore the natural world.
